The E.H. Howard Correspondence School is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. You can’t find another school like it, they simply don’t exist!
The goal is for you to learn how to use your skills in new ways, to apply what you’ve learned in your business, then assess the outcome for improvement. In short we help you be the business you could be, should be. Desire to be!
In this unit...
We meet Mitzi and Merle, two small business owners. Both of them have seen some level of success in their sales and marketing, for vastly different reasons. They’re still keeping on, but it feels like they aren’t as successful as they used to be. That’d be an accurate statement
Mitzi is the owner and Chief Everything Office at Itsy, Bitsy Candles by Mitzi. She had a product that lent itself easily to image creation. While she was great at getting attention, she wasn’t so good at keeping it. Her photo’s weren’t memorable or adding to the story she was trying to tell.
Merle is Mr. All On My Shoulders Guy and CEO of Money Management and Financial Planning. Merle felt that the only product he was selling was himself. That meant being a charming guy, who could rope you in with a story. When Merle talked, people listened. The problem was that was an “in-person” experience only. It didn’t translate to posts.
These days businesses need to get the attention of a consumer in a matter of seconds. They’re scrolling by at a breakneck pace. They are making a split second decision about whether to purchase from you, based on the image you present to them.
Let’s get into it deeper. Look at what makes a good story, a great image and how they should work together to create a one two punch. We’ll look how to craft quality images using your phone. Finally, we’ll see what billboards can teach us in relation to selling to consumers speeding by at a break neck pace.
